In early 2019, Daniel transitioned out of private practice after 25 years as a law-firm principal.  Matters he has handled in the areas of bankruptcy and state and federal civil litigation.    

  •  He was the principal litigation attorney in large-scale financial fraud cases (In re Whispering Winds and In re Aaron Tonken)
  • He handled taxation matters, including tax disputes with the Franchise Tax Board in Chapter 11 claim litigation; plan confirmation and non-dischargeability  contexts. 
  • In Labor/Employment matters, he served as part of the class-counsel team in National Profile Chapter 11 cases and was appointed sole class actions in prime-lender Chapter 11 case;

He has served a Court-appointed Mediator  with more than twenty-years’ experience in complex civil litigation and bankruptcy matters,.
